Have you ever wondered what your life's purpose is?

Several years ago I was lucky enough to uncover mine. What struck me was how beautifully simple it is; my life's purpose is to learn, have adventures and be as creative as I possibly can be... (and along the way to help others who are creatively blocked to unblock themselves.)

This means I have an eclectic mix of different skills in my toolkit. Mostly, I fulfil my purpose by writing, and sometimes through my Bewitching crafts like soap-making and semi-precious jewellery design. I am also a master practitioner and coach of NLP. At the moment, I am researching one of my favourite writers who has been previously overlooked (Mary Webb) and writing a novel for a PhD in Creative Writing. I write both fiction and non-fiction, all inspired by nature. I am a regular contributer to the most excellent Pagan Dawn magazine, and I am also writing a work in progress blog at Moon Books called Urban Nature Mystic.

Earlier this year I gave a talk on early twentieth century literary pagans at Treadwell's bookshop in Bloomsbury, at the MEWW Conference in Oxford, at the Pagan Federation's 45th Anniversary celebration in Brighton, and at the PF Disabilities Team's online Beltane and Midsummer Festivals. Next stop is the PF London conference in August.

The talk has been very well received! If you are running an event that needs speakers and this sounds interesting to you, do drop me an email. For more information, click here to visit my page about talks or come and visit me on YouTube.

Writing and Research

Nature Mystics: The Literary Gateway To Modern Paganism is published as part of the Moon Books Pagan Portals series and is available from Amazon. Here is what people are saying about Nature Mystics:

"...a wonderfully deft and vivid introduction to a broad range of
distinguished British authors whose contribution to the making of
modern Paganism is both considerable and little understood."
Professor Ronald Hutton

"This book is an important first: it brings the rich detail of the pagan sensibility in early twentieth-century novels to the modern reader."
Christina Oakley Harrington, Treadwells Bookshop, Bloomsbury.
